Marlies Kinnell, President of KINNELL Travel & Health Plans Inc., has been involved in the travel insurance market since 1988. The agency became an MGA (Managing General Agency) with Ingle Life & Health in 1995 and began with 20 brokers. As the Agency grew and matured, SCS PLANS™, and SCS Travel-Med Plans, ™ were established. There are now over 200 Ontario Associates (both RIBO and Life) dealing with the agency, which advises and administers the sale of travel insurance products. These include all lines of travel health insurance for Retirees, Families, Groups, Students and Sports Teams, as well as coverage for Snowbirds, Expatriates, Visitors, Foreign Nationals and Landed Immigrants. At the present time, the agency represents 11 different companies and is recognized across Ontario as one of the best in offering expert advice for the travel insurance market.
In 1998, the agency won the Underwriter Award of the Year with Ingle Life & Health, due to expertise in balancing client's medical conditions with the insurance plan best suited to each individual. Local TV and newspapers request frequent interviews regarding travel insurance.
Victoria Goodwin, Health Advisor, has been with the agency since 1999, expertly assisting in sales and service to Clients and Associates.
