Snowbirds
Competitive rates, especially for healthy travelers are available from several companies. Travel health insurance is designed to cover sudden and unforeseeable medical circumstances while traveling out of province. Any NEW sickness or injury is automatically covered, however, coverage for pre-existing medical conditions may require special underwriting based on your medical history. If you have medical conditions that concern you, a questionnaire can be completed for special consideration by our insurance providers. An answer will be provided in writing, which will offer coverage at a special rate and/or exclude certain conditions or decline to cover entirely.

Competitive Sports, Group Sports Teams
Some of our companies will provide special rates for certain competitive sporting activities.  Others will provide group sports coverage with reduced minimum prices for the team. Please note that certain types of sporting activities are excluded due to their dangerous nature. Contact us regarding details.

Canadian Students in Foreign Countries
A study term outside of Ontario can be an exciting and happy time. It can also be very stressful if you experience an unexpected emergency while away from home. Hospital rates outside Canada have become very expensive in some metropolitan areas and Ontario Health only pays a small portion of these costs. This plan covers Emergency Health Insurance for Canadian students attending foreign institutes of learning.

Canadian Expatriates living and working in other countries.
When preparing for your time abroad, there are many issues to consider. A complete health insurance plan is no longer a luxury, but a necessity. You need coverage you can count on with a company that will allow you to consult in your foreign country of residence even after the ‘emergency’ portion of your condition is over. You need a company that will understand medical care and practices worldwide. You need to have medical transportation to the nearest center of medical excellence in an emergency. ‘VIATOR’ has a plan that provides these benefits and has coverage of $1,000,000 per person, per sickness or injury.
